Saffron Sheffield, formerly Sheffield Women’s Counselling and Therapy Service (SWCTS), was established 30 years ago to provide a service by women for women in Sheffield. At Saffron, we deliver a much needed free counselling and psychotherapy service to women who have experienced trauma or abuse.   It is estimated that in Sheffield there are over 34,000 women survivors of abuse. Trauma and abuse can take many forms and can happen to women of all ages, backgrounds and ethnicities.
