Help Counselling is a small, London-based charity dedicated to providing therapeutic counselling services to adults over 18. We also support the next generation of therapists by offering clinical placements for those seeking hands-on experience to qualify with professional governing bodies. Our clients come from all over London and can access our services in person across six locations, as well as online. Our commitment to long-term support at an affordable cost sets us apart. Our session fees start at just £30, and unlike the NHS and other low-cost services, there is no cap on the number of sessions we provide. We continue until our clients feel ready to move on. Our clients often present with complex, medium-risk mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm, addiction recovery, disordered eating, neurodiversity, and relationship challenges. Many seek us out because private therapy is unaffordable, free services are oversubscribed, or they do not fit neatly into eligibility criteria.
