Leigh Academies Trust (LAT) was founded in 2008, one of the first multi-academy trusts in the country. Today it is a dynamic, vibrant trust which encompasses 33 academies across Kent, Medway and South-East London - primary, secondary and special. In addition to delivering high-quality educational opportunities for around 24,700 young people aged from 2 months to 19 years, and their families, we are also proud to provide many opportunities for lifelong learning. These are delivered through organisations also under our umbrella Leigh Institute which includes: Thames Gateway Teaching School Hub, LAT Apprenticeships and Kent and Medway Training (KMT), the latter delivering routes into teaching.
