Shiloh is a Rotherham-based charity that has supported adults who are homeless or at risk of homelessness for over thirty years. We provide a safe, welcoming space and 1-1 support to people who are sleeping rough or in temporary/inadequate housing, alongside potentially facing complex personal challenges such as adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), trauma, mental ill health and substance misuse. Our support centre, located near Rotherham town centre, offers a warm, inclusive environment where guests can have their immediate needs addressed, such as food, clothing and hygiene, without referral or appointment. From this starting point, we help people build pathways towards sustainable living. We refer to the people we support as ‘guests’, and our goal is to help them move from crisis to stability through practical support, advice, and compassionate care. In 2024, we supported 729 individuals, many of whom had struggled with or been failed by mainstream services. We are proud to offer an inclusive, whole-person approach rooted in compassion, accessibility, and equality.
