Until 2024, the largest seed grant in the Charity Entrepreneurship’s history went to Lead Research for Action (LeRA). Why? For tackling the number one environmental child health problem in the world: lead poisoning. 1 in 3 children globally have lead poisoning, but in most countries the primary sources of exposure are unknown. They generate decision-relevant evidence to enable elimination of the most important, tractable sources and the work just keeps on coming. With a small and growing team, LeRA are looking for a Head of Operations to play a key role in building team systems and organisational infrastructure, setting LeRA up for success as they scale.
