Careers at FLAG DV - Free Legal Advice Group for Domestic Violence

We understand that leaving an abusive relationship is extremely difficult and that many people need support along the way.

Flag DV is a charity that helps people experiencing domestic abuse or violence from their partners, ex-partners or family members to access specialist advice and support. We do this by signposting people to support organisations and, when they are ready to consider taking legal action, we offer a free legal advice appointment with a volunteer solicitor, legal executive or barrister who specialises in Family Law.

We operate in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Hampshire and support anyone over the age of 18 regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race or religion.

Charity aims - For people who experience domestic abuse to have access to high quality legal advice so that they are empowered to

* Make informed choice through knowledge of their legal rights

* Have better understanding of access to justice

* Make informed choice to protect themselves, their children and their property

Client outcomes are measured under four criteria; improved understanding of legal rights, improved health and wellbeing, improved feeling of safety for victims, their children and property & increased understanding of how to access further legal support.
