About us

In our parlour in Tufnell Park, North London we produce our unique hand made ice cream.In the space of a few years we have grown from our early days behind a stall at local markets to a busy parlour with a fast growing following.

Our founding principles remain unchanged.  

We try to be seasonal. We clean, peel, grate, zest and squeeze all our fruit on the premises. Our walnuts come from the trees of one of our customers, we crack them chop them and turn them into ice cream and walnut brittle.

Customers arrive with mint, rhubarb and damsons, quinces as well as enthusiasm and ideas, and in turn we transform these ingredients into wonderful ice cream that uses traditional techniques to create subtle and exotic flavours. It is what sets us apart, and creates our distinctive taste. Quality that starts at the source.

We use no artificial additives, our ice cream is made with Duchy Originals organic milk, free range eggs, Fair Trade or British sugar and all our packaging is biodegradable.

We support and are supported by our community and though we have big dreams for the future, this will always be at the heart of our business
