The Safer Living Foundation (SLF) was founded in February 2014. It is a joint venture between HMP Whatton and senior academics from Nottingham Trent University. It is supported by the likes of the National Probation Service (East Midlands) and Nottinghamshire Police. As a Charitable Incorporated Organisation that adopts a multi-agency approach with a strong research component, the SLF is focused on reducing sexual offending and re-offending through rehabilitative and preventative initiatives. Our Charitable Objectives:
To promote the protection of people from, and the prevention of, sexual crime.
To promote the rehabilitation of persons who have committed or who are likely to commit sexual offences against others.
