School Notices was launched in 2014 by two parents as an online community that connects the dots between independent schools, parents, alumni, and businesses in a way that benefits everyone.
Taking the principle of the old-fashioned school noticeboard, we have created a cutting-edge website where parents and alumni can connect with other like-minded members across a network of schools in the UK. Members can buy and sell within a trusted community; businesses can reach out to our members; and schools benefit from the fundraising support from advertising revenue.
Our website is free to join and parents, staff and alumni can use School Notices to buy, sell and advertise to one another within a trusted environment. We’ve got everything from school uniforms, instruments, puppies and furniture to holiday villas and jobs. What’s more – it’s free-to-post and we don’t take any commission!
We’re so much more than just a marketplace; 25% of all advertising revenue from our website and magazine goes directly to support our member schools’ fundraising initiatives, providing an alternative revenue stream with no effort from the school required.
It all adds up and we’re proud to be raising thousands of pounds for our member schools!
