Overall
Seismic cares deeply for people and the planet. This is shown through how it looks after its employees and clients and delivers quality services that ultimately help preserve our environment. I can't recommend highly enough being part of an organisation like Seismic where your work will drive real impact and change!

🏖 Flexibility
Seismic has full flexible working with some employees choosing to come into the office regularly and others being fully remote. There's a working 'far from home' policy which states that you can spend 30 days a year working from abroad! Several employees who don't like being on the train when it's busy also choose to flex their hours, either starting early and finishing early or commuting during the day. Seismic also encourage you to take calls as walking calls if it suits the nature of the call which is great for getting out in the middle of the day.
📣 Mission & Purpose
Seismic has a very clear mission & purpose. The team recaps this at least weekly and our day-to-day work is often framed in relation to the company's overall mission to help 10 million people join the shift to better business and to be the best place that any of us have ever worked!
🤩 Flat hierarchy
To give just one example of how flat the hierarchy is - on Tuesday some of the analysts (the more junior members of the team) organised a screening of a short documentary about sustainability. The tone was slightly disheartening - questioning how we are going to save our planet. Two of the senior leadership team attended and took part in a conversation with the whole team about what we can do as a company to help make the shift!
Leadership are very engaged with the employees and accessible to ask for advice or guidance from. The CEO loves to receive feedback so he receives a lot from throughout the company constantly - a couple of months after new employees join he tends to put some time in to hear how they're settling in and what they think of the company so far.
Overall
The culture is so fantastic at Seismic. The team is full of wonderful, value-driven people who want to get the best out of you as a colleague and do what they can for the planet through their own work. There as so many great social initiatives including regular socials (drinks every Thursday evening), a book club, a podcast club and a walking group!
The work is really meaningful, we have got great clients who we're constantly trying to push to improve their impact. Workload is talked about a lot - with weekly check-ins to ensure that everyone has a manageable workload on their plates which is great for work-life balance.Employee
