Since inception in late 2014, Smartkarma’s presence has quickly grown from its Singapore Global Headquarters to Hong Kong, Frankfurt, New York and its newly opened European Headquarters in London. This expansion has come on the heels of the Series B funding round that brought the total equity investment in Smartkarma to USD 21 million. Leading the round was Sequoia Capital, one of the world’s most successful technology venture capital firms, who was joined by existing investors, including Wavemaker Partners, Jungle Ventures and Spring Seed.
