SOCATOTS // BRAZILIAN SOCCER SCHOOLS

We operate a franchising business, representing the brands of Socatots and Brazilian Soccer Schools within the United Kingdom. 

We seek to work to improve the development, coaching and mentoring of children throughout the UK and abroad. We offer the highest possible quality education and continuous development to all our franchisees and coaches. 

Our overall aim is to see the development benefits of the Socatots and Brazilian Soccer Schools programmes available to every child across the UK. We also have international franchise partners striving for the same vision in the following countries: Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Dubai, Germany, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Poland, Turkey & South Korea.

Socatots, formed in 2003 is a football based developmental activity programme specifically designed for children (girls and boys) aged 6 months - 5 years old. It offers a unique approach designed around systematic training sessions involving parents' active participation. Children attend regular sessions with other children of a similar age, where they master both motor and social skills under the watchful eye of highly qualified coaches. Socatots' mission is to engage more and more children in physical activity, using football as a medium. We teach basic movement patterns, balance and motor coordination. Most important, we ensure that physical activity is fun. Everything we do is centred on helping children develop first as people, then as sports enthusiasts.

Brazilian Soccer Schools is a unique Soccer coaching programme incorporating Futebol de Salão. Futebol de Salão is a 5-a-side version of football with South American origin that is played with a smaller (size 2), heavier (465g) ball that has virtually no bounce (10%). The game became very popular in Brazil where players such as Pele, Rivelino, Zico right through to Juninho, Ronaldo and Rivaldo were brought up first playing Futebol de Salão before moving on to conventional football. Following FIFA's decision to promote the game of Futsal (5-a-side played with a size 4 ball with 20-25% rebound) Futebol de Salão has virtually died out in South America and is now developed globally through Brazilian Soccer Schools and Socatots who see the game as being the best start for children in football. 

As a franchisor we provide the necessary tools and documents, as well as the most effective processes. We retain the effectiveness of the system through training seminars that each of our franchisees regularly attend.

Globally, our many international franchisees are delivering this programme to tens of thousands of happy children and even in some cases producing the football talents of tomorrow. 

The success of our franchisees can be attributed to industry leading support structure that enables them to be as successful as they can be in the shortest possible time-frame. 

We are also extremely proud to have recently achieved Gold accreditation from the Children’s Activities Association (CAA). The CAA is the only not-for-profit, industry-led association to set and raise standards in all organised children’s activities across the UK. 

Set-up by leading industry experts in 2015, the establishment of the CAA (a Community Interest Company) has revolutionised the children’s activities sector. Over 200,000 children a week now attend a CAA member activity and it is a truly fantastic endorsement to be part of this ground-breaking national initiative.
