_SocialStarters has helped 400 professionals to explore their role as a social starter for over 6 years now and we've been doing it across 5 countries, and in the UK since 2018. As a remote team par excellence, I'm amazed every day how everyone 'shows up' to work, with energy, new ideas, and a determination to build a movement of likeminded purpose-driven professionals looking to solve social and environmental issues in their communities around them.

We encourage our team stay balanced by providing a wellbeing policy that means staff can try something new every month providing a budget toward activities, plus our unique offering is the 'monk day' which means if anyone feels they need a digital free day to recalibrate, then they can take it, no questions asked. Typically staff work 3 days a week spread across 4, and everyone has Friday off to make the most of the weekend or to work on other projects. It's a great place to work - with stress minimised, and an open door non hierarchical structure that values everyone's ideas.

I'm really enjoying working at _SocialStarters. Everyone in the team is really dedicated and passionate about making a difference, which creates a lovely and positive atmosphere. We're creative, always looking for ways to do things better, and we're not afraid of a challenge! The company is fully remote and we have colleagues all over the world - I love the flexibility of being able to work from different places (covid permitting), and manage my own hours, which are also flexible. Wellbeing and mental health are taken seriously, which I really appreciate. And working with purpose-driven social entrepreneurs, professionals and career changers is really satisfying and fulfilling!
