About us

Sportable Technologies Lld (STL) was founded in 2014 by Dugald Macdonald and Peter Husemeyer. Dugald, the CEO, studied at Oxford University before moving into private equity where he has extensive experience in the mining and resources sectors. Peter, the CTO, worked previously with NASA Marshall Space Flight Centre as a nuclear engineer designing power and propulsion systems for deep space missions. 

Under their leadership, STL has grown rapidly into a truly disruptive company in the sports data and hardware industry. STL uses cutting edge radar and RF technology, digital circuits and MEMS, digital signal processing, machine learning and other numerical methods, creative design and much more. STL is bringing the full gamut of scientific techniques to solve fasinating problems in the sports industry.
