OUR MISSION Marvellous Maps entertain and inspire people to discover and explore Britain’s best bits. We strive to be a ‘good’ business by considering the impact of our decisions on people and on the planet, minimising our environmental impact and supporting our 3 charity partners: Surfers Against Sewage, Trees for Life and John Muir Trust. We became a certified B Corporation in November 2021.
OUR PEOPLE The most important bit! Our people are a unique mix of bright, fun, creative, helpful, collaborative and team-minded professionals, dedicated to delighting our customers. We're always on the lookout for great people, especially those with relevant professional experience who now want to take a more interesting direction in life... so even if we're not advertising a specific role, please feel free to get in touch with us any time at hello@marvellousmaps.com.
We're committed to diversity, equality and inclusion. Our customers, suppliers and other stakeholders come from all walks of life and so do we. We hire, develop and promote great people from a wide variety of backgrounds, not just because it’s the right thing to do, but because it makes our company stronger. In our quest to entertain and inspire people to explore Britain’s best bits, we’re building a culture where difference is valued. Come and be part of our adventure!
OUR PRODUCTS & FUTURE PLANS Our range of folded, flat and framed thematic maps of Britain are perfect for adventurers, curious minds, road trippers, culture vultures, outdoor enthusiasts, foodies, bookworms, film fans, map aficionados... and anyone whose wall or holiday plans could use a bit of livening up. All Marvellous Maps are dreamed up, designed and made in sunny Britain. Our future plans include becoming a more mature, content-led publisher (without losing any of the fun of the brand), and diversifying our offering.
Marvellous Maps exists to amuse, entertain and inspire - three things that we could all do with a little more of in 2021. But it’s not just adventure lovers with a sense of humour that benefit from the witty products on Marvellous Map’s virtual shelves. The team also shared their experiences of a collaborative working environment with plenty of freedom and great benefits. When reviewing Marvellous Map’s Escape 100 entry, the effort to minimise environmental impact, and commit a portion of revenue each year to environmental causes made it clear that this is an organisation that belongs in the top 100.
