- grant provider: we raise funds and inject them into primary schools and grassroots community projects working with primary age children.
- collaborative project: we work with each of our project partners to design bespoke versions of our trips programme, ensuring empathy is at the heart of everything we do.
- community: we are a volunteer led project supported by businesses large and small and made up of community groups, schools, families and of course, the children we work with!
- start: our trips are a chance for people to meet, learn, explore and have fun together.
Our Projects
- In 2017/2018, our grants will benefit families from close to 50 schools and charities in London with 100 per cent of your donations going to our projects!
- Since setting up a six trip pilot for 13 children in 2012, Apples & Pears has enabled over 1,500 primary school children (with a family member each time) from schools in the London Boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Southwark, Greenwich and Lambeth to go on over 170 trips across the city!
