The Falcon, Castle Ashby

Founded in 1594 and set in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside we pride ourselves in serving locally sourced, seasonal food in a relaxed and welcoming setting. We grow much of our produce on the Castle Ashby estate and our Head Chef utilises the 2,500 acres of farmland and herds in our menus.

Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily in our restaurant, we are passionate about food and its provenance. We have a sophisticated hotel bar as well as a cellar pub which is an informal place to meet for a pint. Afternoon tea with a difference will be served in our East Wing. Guests can enjoy a good night rest in a luxurious and inviting setting as each room has been carefully designed with comfort and elegance in mind. The colour palette we have used works in harmony with the historic building and with the surrounding countryside. We also have dog friendly rooms.

Our philosophy and ethos is to be environmentally aware. We are also committed to minimising plastic and waste throughout the hotel.

Only 50 minutes by train from London we are a wonderful place to stay for a romantic getaway with plenty to do during a weekend away. We have complimentary use of bicycles and wellington boots. We also have delightful picnic hampers and blankets to add some fun to your day trips out.
