The Lemongrass Trading Company Ltd

The Lemongrass Trading Company is a 'green' SME based in Dorset, making chemical-free  Insect Repellents, Fresheners and Fragrances, using Lemongrass, and other plant extracts. All our products are family and animal safe, effective and eco-friendly.

We worked with the University of Bristol laboratories, after winning an EU Innovation Grant specifically for reducing chemicals in agriculture. 

The brand is well established, and the products are really good. There's been national press coverage in The Times and The Observer, which led to a great surge of orders. There is a real potential for growth. I now need someone with energy and business skills who can keep that momentum going, someone to take on the company as a co-founder/CEO, to realise its potential.

This summer's stars have been our Anti-WASP & Anti-FLY spray, which are made of edible ingredients, so can be used around food, kitchens, pubs etc. It's extraordinary, but no one else seems to have thought of this. The Fly spray goes to pubs all over the country, and last summer I sold a huge order of Wasp Sprays to the Disney Corporation (I know, Disney!) for location filming.
