tiney is on a mission to unlock the potential of every child.
Brett Wigdortz OBE formed tiney after 15 years leading Teach First, a charity that has worked with over a million children at primary and secondary school age. As a parent of three, he personally experienced how challenging it is to find great childcare that’s also flexible and affordable.
He decided to do something about it. Together with experienced early years educators, nationally distinguished safeguarding leads and digital tech experts, tiney was born!
We’re training up a new wave of fantastic early years educators to give more children a great start in life - and reinventing childcare in the process. We believe that a great early education can be life changing. Our goal is to make the highest quality childcare accessible to more families, and to empower a generation of micro-entrepreneurs to deliver amazing care from their own homes.
Tiney are a rare breed of organisation. Small, ambitious, high impact and growing quickly. Their mission 'to unlock the potential of every child' is one we wholeheartedly support.
We contribute £5,000 towards childcare when using a tiney home!
We have a Central London office that everyone can make use of as they require
Everyone who works permanently at tiney own part of the business
This shouldn't be a 'benefit' but it's important to know we offer Mental Health First Aider training, access to an Employee Assistance Programme, Meditation apps, Personal days and lots more!
We get together as a whole team a few times every year and hold regular inclusive remote socials.
Starting a new job is intense, we encourage everyone in their first month to take an extra days annual leave
We have partnered with Yulife who offer weekly yoga, lots of benefits through their app and life insurance! (we all take this leadership board very seriously!)
This is with Nest! Employee contributes 3% and tiney contributes 5%
We have a core hours policy and encourage everyone to make up the rest of their weekly hours at times that suit them and their personal commitmentsting for a package, or you have some deep-focussed work to do, we all work from home (or café) from time to time. We encourage everyone to work from home when you need to.
