Wanaku

Wanaku is a web platform that aims to give small adventure tour operators a chance against the big travel agencies. And for travelers wanaku is a web platform where they can find alternative adventure tourism in Peru and help operators develope their destinations.

What is our culture like?

We are young entrepreneurs, but we are also travelers and in love with outdoors. Peru is one the main destination in the world for adventure tourism. However more than 80% of that income goes to airlines, restaurants and big and foreign travel agencies. Wanaku aims to give small operators, and out of the main tourist attractions, a chance to show the world what they can offer.

We work in Lima, in a small office. We don't have 9 to 5 schedules but we work by weekly goals that we expect each one of us to achieve. We also travel a lot. We do mountain biking and hiking almost every weekend.
