Escape's take on Whereby
With many of us adjusting to remote working on a full-time basis, and many companies choosing to go fully-remote, video meetings are now firmly part of the day-to-day routine. Whereby - which started as an internship project inside Telenor, a Norwegian telecom company - is helping normalise remote working culture with their 'privacy-friendly' encrypted meeting rooms. You don't need to download any software or an app - just use your personalised URL any time you want to share a moment of inspiration.Cool Scandinavian company? Check. Innovative solution? Check. Whereby is an exceptionally unique and fun place to work. We've dove head first into remote working as a lifestyle, and some of the things that we're doing on the team I find to be truly innovative. While it's not perfect, I feel valued in the work that I do, and encouraged to excel and grow along with the company. I'm never afraid to speak my mind, and the team is always willing to consider different viewpoints which is so refreshing!
