You probably haven’t heard of us yet. For two years we’ve been working behind the scenes, and we’re finally launching our product.
Our passion is cooking (and, of course, sports), and we were fed up with the same old bars and sugary sports nutrition. Every outing leaves us without an appetite, and eating while cycling or trail running seems like a chore. That’s how Yanaa was born.
We’ve created real food for endurance athletes. We stepped away from the sugar-based approach and, with the help of engineers, scientists, athletes, and nutritionists, have created incredible savoury recipes. Gastronomic fuel, even. Here’s an example of our flavours to get your mouth-watering: Beetroot & balsamic, Pea & mint, Goat’s cheese & walnut.
In recent years, we’ve seen a growing movement among professional athletes called the “Food First” — which means ditching ultra-processed nutrition in favor of real food. With Yanaa, we want to make this approach accessible to everyone with our next-level products, made with organic ingredients, cooked in Provence, and designed to support gut health (and long-term well-being).
You might be surprised to learn that:
✔ 78% of athletes believe existing sports nutrition is unhealthy.
✔ 77% of athletes say sports nutrition tastes terrible.
✔ 75% of athletes prefer savoury options.
Who’s Behind Yanaa? Yanaa was co-founded by a former professional athlete, nutritionist, and private chef, along with a regenerative designer who was previously a Marketing & Concept Manager at Salomon.
Yanaa stands for “You Are Not An Astronaut”, because we believe:
🚀 You don’t need to eat astronaut food.
😆 You shouldn’t take yourself too seriously.
🌍 You need to take care of this planet.
Come explore with us! 🚀
Ever wished you could have something savoury to eat on those long runs or cycle rides? You’re not alone. After years of eating sweet and sugary bars, Yanaa founders Raph and Léonie decided to solve this problem once and for all. And Yanaa was born. With an exciting launch on the horizon and ambitious goals to make a huge impact on the world, there’s never been a more exciting time to join the team.
