Yes Futures is a multi award-winning charity, established in 2012. We empower young people to believe in themselves. We do this through a range of award-winning personal development tools and programmes, which enable young people to develop essential skills and positive wellbeing in school and at home.

Every child deserves the opportunity to fulfil their personal potential. Through our work, we develop young people's skills to prepare them for whatever future they choose. Ultimately, we aim to create a cultural shift in education: where non-academic skills are developed with the same focus as academic skills, enabling students to be successful both at school and beyond.

    The mission is very clear and close to the hearts of all the team. We collectively strive to achieve the maximum impact for the young people we serve, and do this by effective collaborative working between the delivery teams and the head office teams.

    I feel well supported. trusted, and empowered in my role. Three things that, having worked in numerous organisations, don't come around together often! Because of this, my drive and ambition is far greater, which ultimately raises the impact of the work our charity does to support young people. This represents is a strong organisational culture, that I believe is felt by all employees!

    Since I joined the team, I feel have been inundated with opportunities to build on my knowledge and skills within my role description and beyond! It's great to have a manager who is so supportive when it comes to personal development. As well as this, we each benefit have a personal budget, set aside to encourage us to pursue training and other opportunities.

    It's so great to be part of such a happy and supportive team! From team socials, team days and annual team retreats - there are so many opportunities to reflect on, and build, positive relationships with team members. Each new member of the team is encouraged to fill out a 'user manual' so that we get to know more about each other and our preferred ways of working, so that can work as effectively and supportively as possible.

    As a small, close-knit team wellbeing is definitely prioritised. I feel confident in asking my team for support. We regularly check-in on each other. A great flexitime policy is on offer too. We have monthly coffee dates with different members of the team which is a great opportunity to have a conversation about other things instead of work.

    Overall

    The Yes Futures is the best team I've worked with! We're constantly encouraged to develop our skills and take ownership of our work. As a small, close-knit team, it's wonderful to be trusted to be creative and try new things. From weekly team shout-outs to recognise our hard work, to various opportunities to lead on projects - your voice is always heard.
