About the Programme

Course overview

This course is designed to give you an introduction to digital marketing. You'll be introduced to marketing theory and core digital marketing content. The core content will be very practical and hands-on in its approach, reflecting digital marketing requirements from employers. You’ll learn how we interact with digital and real-world influences, how to identify target markets, what customer journeys and touchpoints are, and how to create marketing campaigns across multiple digital platforms.

Throughout the course, you'll earn different digital badges. These can be displayed on your LinkedIn profile to increase your employability and visibility. You'll also have the opportunity to complete the Digital Marketing Institute's Digital Marketing Associate Certification. This involves taking an online exam for which you'll be offered support and preparation.

Programme delivery

You'll be taught by highly experienced lecturers and also benefit from guest speakers, group exercises, and online learning to ensure that you can fit the course around your other commitments. You’ll be taught through a combination of face-to-face and online teaching

  • All teaching is Monday-Thursday 10am-3pm
  • The first two weeks will be in person at our Sion Hill campus in Bath
  • From week three onwards, Monday-Wednesday teaching will be online
  • On Thursdays, you'll focus on employability skills with in person sessions
  • Online mentoring sessions will be available on Mondays and Tuesdays
