8 Cool Female Health Organisations To Work For

Bringing visibility and innovation to underrepresented health topics is the common mission of these impactful teams

Femtech, female health, women’s wellbeing - whatever you want to call it, there have been a whole host of organisations popping up in the last 5-10 years giving women’s health topics the attention they've been missing.

Whether that be by ensuring more scientific research and data exists to improve the lives of women with painful (yet surprisingly common conditions) like endometriosis, helping trafficking survivors to stay safe, breaking taboos with sustainable and sassy period products, or challenging stigmas about sexual wellness, there are so many lenses to view female health through, and these organisations are leading the charge in a strongly-monopolized, low innovation industry.

And that’s not all - these organisations are also behind the scenes making an impact with their employee and people policies, too. By supporting women who survived sexual trafficking, to implementing flexible working schedules, the teams working at these companies have a mix of cool benefits to enjoy.

To do everything so that survivors have all they need to recover and build lives that are both safe, and free. In addition to their two safe houses, where women can stay when they are at their most vulnerable, they provide women with the support to recover and move forward, both physically and emotionally. They also provide a long-term community for survivors, overall plugging dangerous gaps in the national health system: The team also speaks widely about trafficking and exploitation issues to raise awareness and challenge injustice.
