About Moneybox

Moneybox is the award-winning app that helps you turn your money into something greater. We’ve brought saving, investing, home-buying, and retirement services all together into one simple app, so it's easier than ever to achieve your goals and build wealth, whatever your starting point.

Job Brief

Moneybox is growing rapidly, and our CRM team is no exception. We have more customers, more accounts, more content and more features than ever before. A key driver of that growth has been our ongoing communication and engagement with existing customers. The management of these communications (both automated and manual) is getting understandably more complex in line with the increasing number of products and features we offer.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior CRM Manager to lead this team, build out the wider processes, and develop the CRM strategy to help us scale efficiently. This person will play an instrumental role in building a more engaging and personalised experience for our growing community and in driving commercial value for the business.

The Moneybox Senior CRM Manager will have a strong focus on the management and development of our Campaign / Comms strategy and the implementation of our in-app content personalisation. They will be responsible for overseeing the use of CRM to drive engagement from the Moneybox community across all types of campaigns from educational content to improve financial literacy, to cross-selling new products and services where relevant. They will work closely with our mission-based teams (Saving, Investing, Home-buying and Retirement) to help manage, optimise and personalise the user journey throughout the app and our communications

What you'll do

Driving forward the implementation and optimisation of automated user journeys & experiences using CRM. This will involve testing new campaigns and flows and understanding their impact with regards to our business priorities and objectives.  Managing the calendar of ad hoc & “manual” campaigns. This will require prioritising across the different missions and audience segments to develop an overall plan that aligns with our commercial priorities and ensures a good experience for customers. Managing and developing the team of CRM Executives who are responsible for the day to day delivery and reporting of Campaigns and Content.  Building on the recent implementation of Braze (our CRM software provider), the Senior CRM manager will own this relationship, maximising the benefits and managing its use effectively. Managing the CRM briefing process - defining how new campaigns are requested, prioritised, managed & delivered and ensuring this process runs smoothly and efficiently across the business. Managing the in-app content on display to our users to create a holistic and consistent messaging experience.  Working closely with the Marketing, Product and Insight teams to ensure alignment and agreement on comms & in-app content plans and prioritisation.

Who you are

Have a genuine interest in Moneybox and the services we offer. Excited about being part of a fast-growing company that’s trying to make a positive mark on the world. A driven, ambitious individual who’s looking to continue to build their career at an exciting, very- fast-growing company. A proactive self-starter who combines a bias for action, with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a willingness to learn and solve problems independently. Outgoing and confident outlook with a willingness to start conversations with people and get stuck in. Collaborative team player who is able to take feedback on board. Naturally personable, great communicator with a passion for their work and the people they work with. Knows how to have fun whilst maintaining a professional outlook.

Experience and skills

Ideally around 5 years of relevant CRM experience in a consumer-facing environment. This would involve at least 2 years of being a CRM manager at a senior level.  Experience of managing a team.  Able to take a highly detail-orientated, diligent, and methodical approach. An analytical mindset to be able to strategise and prioritise in line with our key business metrics.  Capable of communicating complex ideas simply and convincingly. Experience in project managing multiple workstreams and able to prioritise effectively.  Able to “roll up your sleeves” and get involved in the delivery and execution of campaigns if needed. Able to work independently and as part of a team
