LatchAid is an award-winning FemTech startup using pioneering 3D interactive technology & Artificial Intelligence to support parents through their pregnancy, breastfeeding, and early parenthood journeys 24/7. The UK has the worst breastfeeding rate globally, sadly 90% of women give up breastfeeding before they want to. We have created a revolutionary app to help parents achieve their infant-feeding goals with:

We are a tight knit and hard-working team made up of talented and passionate individuals from around the world. We have experience in Oscar / BAFTA award-winning visual effects, infant- feeding, baby development, and maternal health support from leading specialists, Artificial Intelligence and software R&D from experts in multiple countries. We are at a very exciting time! We have just launched our iOS app with active users from 73 countries across 6 continents and launched our social prescribing pilot whereby mothers and mothers-to-be are prescribed the app across the UK to supplement pregnancy and infant feeding support with 12 NHS Trusts and The HCRG Care Groups. We have been featured in +40 press articles and interviews including the BBC News.

With grant funding from Innovate UK, the NHS and Seed investment, we are set for the accelerated growth in product, commercial, and team development and passionate in achieving greater impacts in public health nationally and internationally!

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our fast-growing team. You will lead on all marketing activity and customer engagement for LatchAid, creating multichannel campaign content to increase our customer base and overall sales, leveraging customer insights to build engaging experiences and successful innovation.

There is possibility to progress to a Head of Marketing role in the future based on performance within the current role.

As our Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Lead on the development and implementation of strategic and tactical marketing plans that drive brand awareness, profile raising and ultimately lead to customer expansion and sales.
  • Creating and implementing compelling communication and effective media strategies, managing digital marketing, including social media channels, ads, and website upkeep.
  • Liaising with and manage relationships and contracts with relevant agencies as required.
  • Maintain and improve the LatchAid website with a strong eye on the brand, UX and SEO; working with web developers as required
  • Design all digital assets, graphics and videos; working with external designers and freelancers as required
  • Manage the LatchAid network and customer engagement through regular newsletters, user generated content and campaigns, testimonials, and case study collection
  • Draft all copy for marketing outputs (e.g. articles, press releases, social media posts, website content, etc)
  • Analyse analytics and trends for social media and website, reporting regularly to the CEO
  • Build and manage relationships with the press, raising the LatchAid profile in local, regional, national and international news, exhibitions, and trade shows; acting as a spokesperson when required
  • Establish co-marketing and co-distribution plans with aligned brands, businesses and organisations
  • Work with the Commercial Manager to establish go-to market and growth strategies and drive our international promotions in North American and European markets
  • Working closely with the Commercial Manager and CEO for business development, commercial strategies
  • Working closely with the tech team and customer success team for produce development, support, and roll-out

Who we are looking for:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ of progressive experience in marketing and/or communications
  • Profound knowledge of digital marketing, profile raising, SEO strategies
  • An outcomes-focused leader with proven experience building and managing high functioning teams
  • Driven and ambitious to rapidly expand our following and user base, helping us achieve our sales and marketing vision within a reasonably short time frame
  • Proven experience managing press relationships with demonstrated ability to secure media opportunities
  • Excellent communication (in person and in writing) and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage external contractors
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to adapt marketing tactics as required
  • A creative, out of the box problem solver with a demonstrated ability to bring your vision to life in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable working with small/dynamic teams, and fast-paced environment with little direction and quick decision making
  • Experience with relevant platforms, such as Hootsuite, Canva, Figma and CRM systems (Campaign Monitor or equivalent)

Desirable:

• Existing press contacts (local, regional, national and international)

  • Experience in the HealthTech or Digital Health sector.
  • Passion for using technology and innovation to improve health and wellbeing of millions
  • around the world.
