We are at a very exciting time! We have just launched our iOS app with active users from 73 countries across 6 continents and launched our social prescribing pilot whereby mothers and mothers-to-be are prescribed the app across the UK to supplement pregnancy and infant feeding support with 12 NHS Trusts and The HCRG Care Groups. We have been featured in +40 press articles and interviews including the BBC News.
With grant funding from Innovate UK, the NHS and Seed investment, we are set for the accelerated growth in product, commercial, and team development and passionate in achieving greater impacts in public health nationally and internationally!
We are looking for a Product Manager to join our fast-growing team. You will lead on the product management and QA management of our pioneering app and play a key role in driving forward the next generations of LatchAid products to be scalable, robust, and innovative, serving millions of users around the world and changing the landscape of the public health.
There is possibility to progress to a Head of Product role in the future based on the performance and progression in the current role.
As our Product Manager, you will:
- Own product features and be actively involved in the full lifecycles of LatchAid new product and feature development from idealisation, requirement specification, proof of concept, to full build and test, launching in market, and operating at scale.
- Define and own the customer/business values, product vision and road map, manage project execution, and define project roll-out strategies.
- Works closely with internal and external software teams to write clear/concise user stories and requirement specifications, prioritise development items into technical sprints to align with the product roadmap.
- Act a scrum master and work closely with the lead software developer to manage Agile development including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint review, product backlog, progress monitoring / management, and software releases.
- Interact with external software subcontracting teams for sprint planning, sprint reviewing, progress monitoring, and product delivery.
- Manage and conduct software QA testing for internal and external software teams.
- Report directly to CEO and work closely with internal and external cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, internal / external software developers, commercial teams, healthcare professionals during the whole product lifecycles.
- Monitor product key metrics, performance and proactively identify opportunities for product improvements and communicate these companywide.
- Invent the future by talking to customers, looking at the data, and translating the market needs and user feedback into product requirements, product roadmap, and company long term strategies.
- Continuously and proactively evaluate market, competitors, and pricing trends for identifying ways to improve the user experience.
- Evaluate and influence product marketing, messaging, and promotion.
Who we are looking for:
- An outcome focused leader with a track record of taking products from ideation through hyper-growth
- 3+ years commercial experience as a product manager / owner / scrum master in an Agile software development environment throughout full product lifecycles.
- 3+ years’ experience in managing product backlogs and driving road maps, and go-to- market strategies, and design discussions to build and scale products at a high growth company.
- Proficient in using Agile development tools including Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project
- Solid knowledge in technical product development principles/methodologies and modern engineering team practices.
- Proven experience in software QA testing and releases.
- Proven experience in working closely cross functional teams including key stakeholders, external and internal tech teams, commercial team, customer success teams, and end users.
- Experience driving and tracking results with external developer partners.
- Obsessed with exceptional user experience. Proven user testing, experimentation, and evaluation experience. Passion for solving key user problems. You have strong empathy for your product users, can identify customer pains and come up with relevant solutions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication (in person and in writing), and presentation skills and able to communicate to various stakeholders and people of varied technical ability.
- A creative, out of the box problem solver with a demonstrated ability to bring your vision to life in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability and experience to work in start-up, small/dynamic teams, and fast-pacing environment with little direction and quick decision making.
Desirable:
- Experience in creating product mock-ups and wireframes.
- Experience in using Canva, Figma, Asana, and Mural.
- AI and machine learning experience.
- Experience in the HealthTech or Digital Health sector.
- Passionate in using technology and innovation to improve health and wellbeing of millions around the world.
