We’re on a mission to become the essential tool for anyone wanting to work with high growth businesses – which, as it turns out, is quite a lot of people! We’re looking for an experienced sales manager looking to take their next step in sales management and support our ever-expanding team of AEs.

👋 About us

We’re a market leading tech company that provides data on the UK’s private economy - including some of the fastest growing companies in the world. We’re at a pretty exciting stage right now — we’ve built a profitable, high-growth business, with 120+ employees and an enviable client list. But we’re not done yet. We’re on a mission to become a global data company that helps every organisation discover and work better with ambitious, high-growth companies.

🥖 The Role

Our Sales team helps potential clients see the value of our platform and works alongside our Marketing & Account Management teams to bring in the cash. We’re looking for a brand new sales manager to support our team in bringing onboard more high-profile clients, playing a pivotal role in developing our junior sales team and its long term strategy.

You’ll work directly with the sales leadership team, including the Head of New Business and CRO, as we build a MEDDIC-led sales organisation that’s laser-focussed on digging deep into the fundamental challenges facing our prospects.

Day to day, your responsibilities will include:

🎯 Sales Leadership: Working alongside senior leadership team to support and motivate the sales team.

📈 Team Building: Recruiting, training, and leading a team of AEs.

🛠 Deal strategy: Attending client meetings, providing advice on deals, and pipeline management - setting the standard in perseverance, determination, and excellence.

🧮 Data-Driven Leadership: Leveraging data to identify opportunities and manage team performance.

⭐ Ownership: Demonstrating proactive problem-solving and taking responsibility for both successes and challenges.

 🫵 About you

You will ideally be:

  • A track record of success in sales: you can point to significant success and experience in the AE role (multiple annual targets exceeded).
  • You have a passion for management and mentorship: working with people and helping them to hit their goals.
  • A natural people-person: A great listener, emotionally intelligent, and great at getting to know all different personalities
  • Quick thinker: You pick things up fast, and you’re able to remain calm under pressure
  • Resilient: You’re able to bounce back after a set-back and proactively learn from your mistakes
  • MEDDIC-trained, selling complex, high-value contracts.
