Hi, we’re Kitt - a managed office operator that partners with landlords to deliver an all-inclusive experience for tenants to find, design, move-in and thrive in their perfect space. A Kitt office is one that brings people together, elevates your culture and ultimately delivers space for you to do your best work - we think that’s pretty cool.

The Role

Reporting directly into one of our Senior Engineers, you’ll be working on the full spectrum of our product range. This is a full stack role where you will have exposure to all parts of our system so it’s a great opportunity to advance in each part of your development skills.

You will be:

  • Creating new microservices for new features and managing the complexity of a resilient distributed system.
  • Designing data structures that are easy for our data team to interrogate.
  • Iterating on our office marketplace product to help digitise our office spaces and create an interactive design experience.
  • Implementing systems to ensure site reliability, such as unified tracing and monitoring.
  • Adding features to our tenant native app and web app to create a seamless experience for them within their office.
  • Providing our internal team the tools they need to manage their offices as effectively as possible, such as working on our "virtual receptionist" product that enables them to answer intercom callers remotely.
  • Building tools to empower our sales team to manage the whole sales process from capturing leads to offer made, gathering insightful data along the way.
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to take product feedback.
  • Contributing to our in house design system and component library.

About you

  • A junior engineer, you’ve recently graduated or completed a coding course, and you have experience working with a strongly-type language (Go, Java, C, Scala etc.)
  • Solving complex problems gives you a buzz, you have a product mindset and care about the customer experience.
  • Ambitious and eager to work in a friendly startup with a wide-reaching ambition: to transform every space so that it best serves people and their purposes.
  • You want to be a part of a high-performing engineering team that is effective, enables engineers to focus on their strengths and supports them in their weaknesses.
  • You make a positive impact on your team's code quality and architecture.
