⚡ About the role
We’re now growing our HR team and are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join us in this critical time of growth, to own and improve our payroll processes and policies.
You will:
Prepare and review the monthly payroll in Spain. Including, processing all special payment requests such as commissions, bonuses, severance, referrals and overtime. Coordinating and ensuring the timely delivery and correct transfer of data of payroll files to our payroll suppliers. (BDO) Work closely with the HR Team and Finance to ensure the accuracy of the payroll data. Assist with annual statutory audits and other audits as required. Resolve problems and respond to inquiries related to payroll earnings, deductions and tax withholding. Generate new payroll reports and analyses for management as requested. Take ownership of other additional projects, such as: Job mapping, salary market trends and benchmarking of companies' salaries and benefits. Continous improvement of the payroll process.⚡ What you have:
- 2+ years of previous experience in administering payroll in Spain and performing functions in the area of personnel administration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Spanish.
- Good analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- You have a proactive mentality and have the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
