The Role:
We are looking for a Partnerships Executive to join our team, and support the development of two key projects - one focused on connecting local communities to green careers, and the other building a network of inclusive employers
You’ll play a critical role in mapping out networks of community, education and corporate partners, helping to shape and improve effective outreach strategies, and supporting outreach and engagement of potential partners. This will focus particularly on:
- Engaging responsible organisations and helping diverse young people across Southwark and Lambeth to connect to local opportunities that could help shape their career.
- Engage a network of green skills partners to unlock career opportunities within the green industry that can be provided to residents across London.
We’re interested in candidates with varying levels of experience, as well as those with lived experience of inequality. If in doubt, go ahead and apply! The application deadline is 22nd Februarybut we will be shortlisting and interviewing during the process, so early applications are encouraged.
The role is hybrid - with 3 days per week in our office at Somerset House, London. You will be reporting to Joss, our Director of Programmes.
What you’ll be doing:
- Shaping, testing and constantly improving an effective outreach and engagement process for local communities, responsible employers, education partners and funders.
- Responsible for proactively building relationships and engaging directly with local employers to promote and onboard clients into our youth programme NextGen Southwark and green skills programme.
- Managing comms, including responding to incoming enquiries. This includes email marketing campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and other methods.
- Leading the mapping of potential corporate and educational partners, and accurately inputting data into our system to successfully manage and track these relationships.
- Supporting the maintenance of our community platform that helps provide support to students and jobseekers.
- There are also opportunities to get involved in other streams of work – including the development of social media campaigns and channels
You’ll Need:
- To have a talent or interest in entrepreneurship, sales or partnership building.
- To be proactive and a self-starter, and keen to take on additional responsibilities.
- To be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- To be a natural communicator with a professional manner, love dealing with people and able to build relationships.
- To be adaptable - happiest in fast-moving environments and good at multi-tasking.
- To be purpose driven, and passionate about community, equality and impact
- To be positive, empathetic and keen to learn!

- Salary of £25,000-£30,000 (we are open to varying levels of experience) plus up to £3,000 target-based commission
