The Job:
Ooni is in the middle of an epic growth phase in Australia and we’re looking to hire fantastic people to join us on the journey. This role is for a Junior Sales Account Manager / Coordinator based in Melbourne who will be an integral part of our Australian wholesale team to support the growth of that channel in the Australian market.

As the Sales Account Manager / Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for:
- Delivering superior customer service to execute all inbound/outbound customer interactions and managing the order process for assigned accounts. This would include, but not limited to, database setup, approving, verifying, entering and monitoring the status of orders for all assigned accounts.
- Supporting our National Sales Manager so we can get out there and sell more ovens!
- Processing purchase orders, invoicing, doing data entry, researching the market, issuing point of sale materials and sending out samples of our fantastic products to our ever-increasing retail network.
- Helping us shape our sales team and establishing a culture for some serious ambitious growth – that means helping implement processes to set the tone for the next 3-5 years.
- Ensuring the accuracy of order to invoice (price, terms, allowances, and other legally binding aspects).
- Demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills and delivering prompt and effective handling of internal and external customer inquiries.
- Working directly with senior Ooni team members to understand wholesale strategies.
- Actively engaging with internal teams (e.g. Sales, Demand and Supply Planning, Finance, and Operations) and external customers to resolve any issues for assigned accounts and providing solutions, appropriate information and reports.
- Managing the order process from order to delivery.
- Executing all applicable reports to help manage accounts and monitor performance.
- Providing input for all process improvements and supporting all team building initiatives. Be ready to come in and help make us better.
- Participating in cross functional teams and provide customer/order management expertise.
- Growing an intimate knowledge of all applicable order processing systems: ERP, EDI, Data Warehouse, Microsoft Office and resolve all potential issues to meet order dates or product launches.
Apply if you:
- Have 2+ years’ experience of working in a Wholesale sales and/or account role, preferably within the outdoor industry, appliance industry, FMCG, or similar.
- Have excellent communication and people skills.
- Are natural at building positive authentic working relationships, both internally and externally.
- Have a well-organised way of working and handling client requests.
- Have great attention to detail, and enjoy diving in to an excel spreadsheet / google sheet.
- Are proactive and efficient. Our customers are our number one priority, so we need to respond to them quickly and positively.
- Have experience of, or are willing to quickly learn how to use, FreshSales CRM, Slack and SAP / ERP software
- Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Have a positive, growth mindset.
- Love talking about pizza.
