Role purpose
onefinestay is looking for a Home Stylist.
Our homes have distinctive interiors but we're all about bringing the unique personality and character of each one to life. We want visitors to our website to yearn to explore further and we love to delight all of our new homeowners with beautiful shots of their homes.
We put a huge amount of effort into our interiors photography and we are currently looking for talented people interested in interiors, property, photography or design to come and lend a hand.
In this role you’ll be spending some quality time in some of Paris’s most fabulous homes, and will also have the chance to develop your creative eye and directly contribute towards some stunning photography. This role is a contract role, the Home Stylist will be on call for shoots and paid per piece.
Duties and responsibilities
- Home styling: you’ll be responsible for getting each and every room of a home ready for a photographer to start work.
- A spot of housekeeping: it’s important that we’re upfront about this part - you'll need to muck in like the rest of us to tidy the home and move items if looking a bit suspect or would be better out of shot.
- Homeowner satisfaction: you'll take care to ensure that a home is returned to the homeowner just as they left it and will take responsibility to ensure we have followed any of their specific instructions.
Qualifications and experience
- Interior styling experience is a bonus but not
- Organised and responsive: shoots are often booked or re-booked at short notice and we’ll need you to be flexible and responsive enough to get to where you need to be on-time, every time
- Able to build rapport with a diverse group of sophisticated members each and every time you step into a new home.
- Energetic: working on a shoot is thirsty work – you’ll need to have the energy and drive to get round a six-bedroom home in three hours and still have a smile on your face.
- Creativity and flair: we’ll be relying on your creative eye to tease out the best features of a room. You’ll also need a strong eye for detail.
- Can-do attitude: photoshoots are never as glamorous as they sound. You’ll need to be willing to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in moving furniture and making
