Job Purpose
To deliver Comply Direct’s packaging data management service with a focus on continual improvement and ensuring adaptability to change. To provide a high-quality data service to customers through the collection and synthesis of data and maintenance of accurate weights databases with a focus on maximising use of internal systems. Providing technical support to the customer support and sales team as required.

Key Role Responsibilities (there are more!)
- Delivery of packaging data management service – to involve the collection and analysis of data (working with customer support team/direct with customers to understand member requirements)
- Drive continuous improvement of data management jobs – including, but not limited to, the development of methodologies, implementation of audit recommendations, weights gathering
- Maintenance of accurate customer weights databases
- Delivery of quarterly plastic tax data management for customers
- Data analysis reporting to members
- Provide complex data support to Sustainable Packaging Consultancy service
- Develop strategies to drive data process efficiencies, working closely with Data Management Service Leader
- Provide technical and data support to customers/customer support team
The Person
You will be proficient with Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills being able to use complex formulae. You will have a logical and methodical approach with an eye for detail with the ability to synthesis large data sets. You will have strong problem solving and creative thinking skills and the ability to prioritise, multi-task and manage time effectively. You will have the confidence to challenge when required, comfortable working independently but also work well in a team with a ‘muck in’ approach. You will have a strong desire to work for a business for good and will be committed to growing with the business through a period of transformational change, being flexible and highly resilient will support you with this. You must have a strong work ethic working well under pressure with excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Knowledge of SQL databases would be advantageous, but not compulsory. A UK driving license will be required in order to carry out on-site customer visits. A wicked sense of humour is a bonus too!
