Join Lodgify as they are looking for a Graphic Designer

Who we are

Lodgify is a fast-growing startup focused on building vacation rental software that enables property owners and managers to independently manage and market their business online. We are an international team of more than 200 people and 50 different nationalities in the heart of Barcelona, and we've been featured twice in Wired's 100 Hottest European startups list.

🌟 About the role

We're on the lookout for a talented Graphic designer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a close-knit team and create eye-catching content for our online marketing presence. You will have ownership over various projects from conceptualization to execution and help set the tone for Lodgify.

You're a passionate designer with experience working with brands' visual identities in different formats. You're eager to understand how to use design to convert better and spark a positive emotive reaction from our customers (and employees)!

This position is responsible for working within our brand guidelines and style guide to craft our marketing materials, such as our website, ads, eBook templates, email templates, social media posts, landing pages and video elements that require a consistent look and feel.

You’ll pick up invaluable experience in our fast-paced working environment, where you’ll learn to prioritize your tasks, work efficiently and meet deadlines – all while using your creative skills.

🧞‍♂️ What you'll be doing

Work with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute compelling designs across all creative marketing materials (landing pages/website, banner ads, social media content, email, and in-app messaging) while reflecting the brand’s personality and driving key performance metrics. Collaborate with Marketing to provide strategic thoughts around the best creative ideas. Execute our style guide and design systems that allow the marketing team to scale and ship creative quickly, reliably and without compromising the brand's look and feel. Continuously test and leverage data to validate your creative instincts.

🎯 We're looking for someone who

Attention to detail. You can tell when designs don't follow the style guide because the spacing between paragraphs isn't how it's been defined or if one of the mockups has typos. You're skilled at observing and remembering the nitty-gritty. Thinks about the customer. Delivering value early and often to our customers is a must. Yes, we have marketing goals, but you’re always thinking about them through the lens of the people who “Subscribe.” Plays well with others. You love working in a team. You're willing to contribute wherever necessary to meet team goals (for example, by conducting your research, helping with video editing, or proofing a requirements document). Gets stuff done. No time clocks or ankle chains are keeping you at your desk. You have work to do, deadlines to hit and projects to complete. That means you’ll need your problem-solving and organizational skills almost as much as your writing chops. You are self-motivated. You don’t need to be tightly managed to be successful, yet you understand the importance of following processes and communication. You don’t need to be fired up; you’re self-motivated by the inner drive to produce the best results and to be part of creating something great. Expects feedback and changes. Because they’re coming whether you expect them or not. People can run from it or run with it. You choose the latter.

🍯 Job requirements and qualifications

Outstanding portfolio of design samples of high-converting landing pages, websites, performance marketing ads (Google display and Facebook), eBook templates, email templates and designs for video projects. Experience working with Figma and good skills in using and maintaining a design system. You have proven experience in UX & UI design to improve conversions and the overall experience on-page. You're proficient with other design tools besides Figma, such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. A good level of English — both spoken and written. Experience creating video content and working with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Final cut pro would be advantageous. HTML and CSS knowledge will be a plus. Before submitting your application, please, ensure you have an updated portfolio of sample projects highlighting your previous designs for marketing teams and web-based applications.
