COO (Chief Operating Officer)

Join Feast it as they are looking for a COO (Chief Operating Officer)

We’re looking for a driven and commercially-focused COO to streamline Feast It’s internal operations, lead new initiatives and closely aid the founders in driving Feast It’s strategic vision as the company scales.

As a COO you will be an entrepreneurial doer, constantly evolving the business through identifying the strongest avenues for growth, implementing continual improvements and being the single largest agent for change within the organisation.

This is a new role for the company, and naturally the exact parameters will be dictated by the candidate, however previous experience as a Head of Operations, COO, founder or in an entrepreneurial role will be vital, as well as a desire to become an integral part of one of the UK’s fastest-growing startups.

As a company, Feast It is at an exciting and pivotal stage, having just raised a significant round of funding, and with multiple new initiatives set for. These include the consolidation of our venues product into the core business, a full rebrand and building public events into our product, and you will ensure that these projects are delivered successfully and on time, and are sufficiently disruptive to change the £80bn UK events industry for the better.

Further, you will be a core member of Feast It’s C-suite and management team and will be expected to be a major contributor towards establishing our strategic direction in both the short and long-term. You will further ensure everyone within the business is collectively working towards the correct goals in an effective manner and that we are hitting our ambitious targets.

Naturally this role will come with a lot of autonomy, and it will be vital that you identify and solve problems end-to-end, while bringing in the correct stakeholders to ensure we meet our challenges both swiftly and effectively.

Having an end-to-end knowledge of how a startup functions will be important in this role, so previous experience at a similar company is preferable, or a deep knowledge of the startup world. Further, previous experience in funding rounds would be useful.

As a company, we believe that we can become the largest platform in the events industry over the next few years and change the industry for the better, so it will be vital you are aligned with the mission and excited by a big challenge. Our growing team is currently 60 strong and you will have the remit to direct resources to areas that you believe best need them.
