Junior Strategy Consultant

We are seeking a curious and resourceful individual to join our small core team. You will work across a range of clients and projects, providing support to our other strategy consultants and our Operations Manager. You will also have the opportunity to lead on some workstreams, with support. As well as client facing work you will be asked to feed into our internal workstreams including business development and PR.


  • Assist the team in delivering on a variety of key project milestones and workstreams, including project management support and preparing client proposals, presentations and reports
  • Support with the organisation and facilitation of online and face-to-face sessions and workshops with clients
  • Conduct targeted research as required to provide insights for client work or business development 
  • Bring your own ideas and perspectives to the way we design, develop and deliver our projects 
  • Contribute to Something More Near blog and social media content


  • At least a years experience in a relevant role or organisation
  • A creative, critical thinker who can find the right balance between seeing the bigger picture and getting the details spot on
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong empathy and active listening skills
  • Ability to work flexibly across a range of different priorities, to tight timescales
  • Comfortable working and collaborating with all kinds of people, able to be a supportive part of the team and also to take initiative and work independently 
  • Comfortable with online working - use of Google Suite, MS Office, Mural
  • Keen to learn and grow


  • Full-time (flexible working or a 4 day week can be considered)
  • Salary £30,000 - £32,000 DOE (based on full-time hours)
  • Benefits including health insurance and 25 days annual leave per annum  
  • This is a hybrid in person/remote working role. Much of our work is conducted online however you will be expected to meet with the team in London at least twice a week (this will mainly be at our shared offices in London Fields) and attend other meetings on an ad hoc basis as required
