The Role

We are looking for a Project Manager who is passionate about operational excellence to join our Publishing Operations teams. Reporting to Senior Project Manager, you will lead the optimization of peer review and publishing processes using a data-driven approach aiming to achieve scalability and efficiency. You will be in charge of delivering, implementing and improving workflows, standard operating procedures, guidelines and documentation to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity of the teams. You will inspire and provide guidance to Publishing Operations teams towards better performance. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the definition and delivery of business improvement projects;
  • Working with business functions to determine project needs and requirements, collecting and analysing data, communicating well and influencing teams to adopt changes to workflows and procedures;
  • Overseeing and guiding testing and experimentation across workflows and translate insights into product specifications and updated procedures;
  • Monitoring progress to targets as defined by the business, flagging potential issues or identifying potential opportunities in achieving the targets in a timely manner and proposing solutions;
  • Leveraging our current tools such as Salesforce to provide self-help tools to our community;
  • Fostering collaboration by ensuring working groups are aligned across Departments to provide mutually beneficial solutions;
  • Providing dashboards, data reports and recommended actions.

About You

  • University Degree and min. 3 years of experience in Project & Process Management;
  • Process Management Certification (Lean Six Sigma or others);
  • Project Management Certification (such as Prince2, PMI or similar);
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and solution delivery in a dynamic environment;
  • Proven track record of implementing lean projects;
  • Experience in coordinating large teams remotely;
  • Highly organized with excellent planning skills;
  • Flawless communication in written and spoken English, an inspiring presenter.
