About Lendable
Lendable is on a mission to make consumer finance amazing: faster, cheaper and friendlier.
We’re building one of the world’s leading fintech companies and are off to a strong start:
One of the UK’s newest unicorns with a team of >250 people
Among the top 10 fastest-growing tech companies in the UK
Profitable since 2017
Backed by top investors including Balderton Capital and Goldman Sachs and most recently OTPP (Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan) in 2022
Loved by customers with the best reviews in the market (4.9/5 across 10,000s of reviews)
So far, we’ve rebuilt the Big Three consumer finance products from scratch: loans, credit cards and car finance. We get money into our customers’ hands in minutes instead of days.
We’re growing fast, and there’s a lot more to do: we’re going after the two biggest Western markets (UK and US) where trillions are held by big banks with dated systems and painful processes. We launched our loans product in the US in 2022 with more product launches to follow this year!

Take ownership across a broad remit. You are trusted to make decisions that drive a material impact on the direction and success of Lendable from day 1.
Work in small teams of exceptional people who are relentlessly resourceful to solve problems and find smarter solutions than the status quo.
Build the best technology in-house, using new data sources, machine learning, and AI to make machines do the heavy lifting
About the role
We are welcoming applications from anyone who is great with numbers, loves problem-solving and has around 4 years of experience; we will ensure title and compensation will reflect the final role.
We want someone who has experience interrogating different data sources and tying the information to real-world dynamics in order to make meaningful contributions to our overall strategy. Preferably, the candidate would have experience in some of US financial services, comparison sites and direct mail acquisition, and/or B2B partner commercial management.
You’ll be working in a small, ambitious and fast-paced team of data-driven troubleshooters, not standard marketers, so this role is for thorough, self-reliant and curious applicants.
Your team’s objectives
We are responsible for the growth of all lending products, delivering projects via our price comparison site partnerships or directly into the market.
Ultimately, the team asks ‘where can we efficiently find new customers?’, ‘what can I improve with my current channels?’, and ‘what can I improve in the product to benefit customers?’.
Most of the team is multifunctional and responsible for identifying and pulling the biggest available levers of growth either directly or by drawing on other parts of Lendable.
We are expanding the team to increase the resources we can bring to scale the two main channels of our newest market: the United States.
How you’ll impact those objectives
You will manage comparison site partner onboarding, analysis and maintenance; optimising them for volume, cost and credit quality.
You will also manage the strategic planning, delivery and analytics of our direct mail campaigns as they scale; directing the expertise of our data science, credit and product functions.
You will combine quantitative and qualitative judgements to triage ideas and strategies; focusing our efforts on the key levers for growth.
Key to the role is preparing all kinds of different analyses; pulling out the most important insights to ensure we make good decisions in all areas.
The role progression includes gradually owning the full responsibility for strategy and execution of specific partner projects, marketing efforts or product enhancements that deliver business growth.
What we are looking for in this role
Evidence of excellence in something that you are passionate about
Evidence of ability to identify and test assumptions
Strong analytical mindset and use of statistical validity when comparing outcomes
Strong written and verbal communication skills with close attention to detail, nuance and commercial goals
Strong logical modelling and spreadsheet skills with experience in SQL and/or Python or similar
Excitement about the opportunity to work in a real entrepreneurial environment and have a real impact on the business
The interview process
We’re not a big corporate so we try our best to get things moving as quickly as possible. For this role we’d expect:
A quick 30-min phone call with one of the team
- Usually 1-2 onsite interviews including:
A 45-minute case study exercise completed collaboratively with the interviewer
Meeting the team you’ll work with daily
Meeting some other team members across the company
