We have an opportunity for a Growth and Partnerships Manager to join our Growth and Partnerships team, based in Worcester. The team manages mergers, acquisitions and disposal projects and identifies and manages investment opportunities with key strategic partners. Paramount to this is maintaining a deep industry knowledge and experience of key strategic matters in all the Group’s key markets, which involves building strong relationships and networks and thorough research, analysis and project management skills.

The ideal candidate will be someone with commercial drive and the ambition to grow, learn and develop. They are likely to be self-motivated and have experience of research and analysis, project management knowledge and an understanding of the market sectors in which the Group operates. This role would suit an individual who wishes to gain wide experience and exposure to a programme of challenging opportunities.

The role of Growth and Partnerships Manager will include:

  • Supporting with delivery of the Growth and Partnerships team objectives which involves introducing investment opportunities and managing divestments as part of Sanctuary Group’s growth and restructuring activities
  • Producing Board level reports with appropriate recommendations and analysis to support the potential opportunities
  • Completion of improvement projects through research or direct management where appropriate
  • Managing and reviewing due diligence for potential mergers and acquisitions, project managing disposal and integration programmes and activities
  • Supporting with legal negotiations associated with delivery of mergers, acquisitions and divestments
  • Managing and developing business processes and financial models to improve business performance and support the decision making processes
  • Developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders, identifying any shortfalls in service delivery ensuring they are dealt with appropriately and delivering high quality customer service

Skills and experiences:

  • Degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification
  • ACCA, ACA or CIMA finance professional qualification
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Recent experience of undertaking a similar role and delivering successful outcomes
  • An understanding of commercial transactions, the due diligence and acquisition process
  • Programme management experience would be desirable
  • Good interpersonal, organisation and time management skills are essential

  • Role salary is £49,126 with an additional policy allowance of £5,403 per annum (rising to £51,711 with an additional policy allowance of £5,688 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
  • If qualified Accountant role salary is £49,126 with an additional policy allowance of £10,316 per annum (rising to £51,711 with an additional policy allowance of £10,859 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
