What we're looking for:
As one of the most senior hires in our Sales team, we are looking for an experienced, high-performing Senior Enterprise Sales Executive with a strong track record of selling SaaS products into the Higher Education Market. We want someone who can balance exceeding individual targets with being an excellent team player. You work closely with our Sales, Marketing, Content and Product teams to identify and fulfil customer needs whilst maximising our revenue potential and growing the business.
What you’ll do:
Help us engage new business and build relationships with key business decision-makers, up to and including C-Level Executives at reputable institutions across the UK & Ireland Run a full sales desk, including prospecting, qualifying, pricing, quoting, negotiating and closing deals Expertly close high-value deals (six figures and up! £££) Actively seek out new sales opportunities through active networking, emails, phone calls and social messages - this will be a high-volume role Uncover prospective client needs, goals and pain points, finding out whether our product is right for them. Increase our sales volume orders and drive value with each sale Collaborate with our SDRs and Marketeers to develop lead generation campaigns on prospecting and building new business whilst ensuring consistent messaging to customers Work cross-functionally with team members from Product, Marketing and Account Management. Lastly, enjoy the ride, share the fun, and help bring Perlego to its next funding stage.Requirements
It’s the perfect role for you if you have:
Extensive experience in sales roles and a demonstrable history of winning new business Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage solid, trusting relationships with key stakeholders at all levels Experience presenting to C-level clients and managing long sale cycles Experience handling and guiding technical discussions as part of the sales process A big personality and an unflappable attitude when giving product demos A growth mindset: You enjoy finding creative and innovative ways to reach clients Enjoy challenging yourself every day to try something new, taking fun and creative but calculated risks in order to progress deals forward A ‘can-do’ attitude; you’ll use your natural ability as well as logic, data, micro & macro trends, to identify opportunities and deliver results Humility - We’re humble and embrace respectful, radical candour with a mindset of ongoing professional and personal development Collaborative - we’re one team with a shared mission and we help each other out. A consultative approach to client relationships: Providing support, information, and guidance, recommending profit and service improvements. Previously worked with Product and Engineering teams on improvements or new products⭐️ It’s a plus if you have: Extensive sales experience in a consultative, B2B environment, with proven success (working in Higher Education would be a huge bonus) A consistent history of disrupting the status quo A consultative background within the Higher Education sector A tonne of experience selling to C-level executives and sophisticated buying groups A clear understanding of the highs and lows that come with working at a startup 😉
