We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager that can grapple and shape our ambitions to deliver a market first and customer centric approach creating and delivery intuitive customer experiences.

We have internal and external customers, and this role is focused on bridging high level requirements, including regulatory and policy needs, that have stemmed from the current disruptive market conditions.

The key area this role will focus on:

Our new customer journeys from joining us to awareness of our new product and service propositions predominantly in self-serve channels and looking to ensure all customer experience channels are embedded as part of the customer experience for growth.

You’ll be working in a cross functional Product, Product Design, Marketing and Content and engineering teams, reporting to Group Product Manager.

To enable your outcomes to take shape you’ll need to get your business partners engaged across several areas that will enable their problems to be solved and begin driving the opportunities that have availed themselves. Your close partners will be:

  • Sales: Acquisition, retention, third-parties and self-service;
  • Customer Services and Operations: proactive problem resolution, self-management and maintenance and automation.
  • Regulations: Adoption of new and changing regulatory requirements, adherence of existing products and processes to business-as-usual standards,.
  • Trading: ensuring solutions are competitive and right-aligned with business requirements and the wider industry market.

Requirements

  • Define problem statements through to scope working with your business partners and data to elicit and ascertain the possible solutions that will deliver customer and business successful outcomes.
  • Define requirements from, early engineering estimation level to refined stories, working closely with Product Design to get UI/X influence and adjustment before epic level definition.
  • Clearly evaluate analysis and discovery work including impact assessments ensuring that work is deliverable aligned to the problem to solve – customer and business.
  • Validate scope with business partners that is cohesive to the Product Design methodology and aligned to Agile scrum. Rapid iterative refinement to ensure the right thing is ready for delivery at the right time in the right way dependent on the needs of the business and customer.
  • Document and build your analysis in Confluence and Jira, including One pagers, incorporating customer flows and UX as well as technical spikes
  • Ensure alignment through regular syncs with your cross functional teams and business partners throughout the product research and analysis lifecycle
  • Be data driven and have a strong analytical experience, to drive value propositions for the outcomes you recommend.
  • Be adept at using data services such as Mixpanel and looker to understand customer behaviour and leverage insights to support optimisation of existing services as well new features.
