Bevi is on a mission to disrupt the beverage supply chain and replace single-use water bottles with smart water machines. As the market leader in IoT-enabled beverage machines, we’ve raised over $160M in venture capital and we’ve been rapidly growing year over year. In addition to driving hypergrowth with our current product line, Bevi is heavily investing in new product development.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to join our Product team in managing critical beverage initiatives. The Program Manager will oversee complex product development and commercialization initiatives, often juggling multiple discrete projects, ensuring they meet the scope, schedule, and cost objectives of the business. This position will be responsible for coordinating and executing through various stages of beverage product development, from ideation to launch, while ensuring the highest level of attention to detail and quality. The ideal candidate will have some technical experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment. This role is based out of our Charlestown office, at least 3 days per week in person (more if desired!).

What you will do:

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of business cases, program plans, integrated master schedules, resource plans, budgets, etc. as required to scope, plan, and execute product programs
  • Coordinate with Product, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Quality, and external stakeholders to understand project requirements and resources are aligned and everyone is kept up to date on progress
  • Assist with various hands-on tasks throughout the development process, including product testing, formulation development, and sensory analysis
  • Manage key program documents so that all stakeholders have clear and easy access to critical information regarding programs
  • Identify root causes to gaps in project timelines and risks to deliverables. Support and/or lead issue resolution to prevent reoccurrence and improve project management processes
  • Manage and update any tracking or reporting tools to monitor accuracy and on-time execution of deliverables for each project
  • Own the project. Be responsible and do whatever it takes to ensure team success – remove roadblocks and wear many hats
  • Prioritize multiple, and at times conflicting, deliverables. Make recommendations as needed to ensure successful and flawless execution of assigned projects
  • Monitor programs after launch to ensure goals are being met
  • Look for opportunities to make teams and systems more efficient
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and apply this knowledge to the product development process

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Program Management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, microbiology, or food sciences preferred
  • Strong comprehension of supply chain operations, preferably in the food and beverage industry
  • Exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation skills to cross functional stakeholders at all levels of the Bevi organization
  • Talent for analyzing and communicating alternatives, risks, and benefits with the goal of reaching decisions or resolving problems
  • A bias towards action and ability to drive critical decisions to resolution
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company
  • Highly self-motivated and has a strong sense of urgency
  • Strong active listening and questioning skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen sense of prioritization
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Asana, Instagantt, or other planning software
  • Experience with B2B products preferred
