Leaders is looking for a motivated, creative minded, intern with analytical understanding to join our team for a six-month fixed period this Spring. Reporting directly into the Senior Marketing Manager, the Leaders Intern will work within the marketing team and play a key role in delivering against pre-established marketing objectives across the events calendar. This is a great opportunity to develop marketing know-how, working with a number of internal and external stakeholders in a company at the heart of the sports industry.
- Support in the creation and sending of Leaders editorial emails, using BeePro and Pardot/Salesforce.
- Assist in delivering general marketing output for in-person and virtual events within the Leaders events calendar.
- Build campaign creative assets using online multiple platforms, being aware of event and design guidelines, acting as a brand guardian across the business.
- Develop and maintain all relevant marketing and sales collateral to support marketing campaigns and defined commercial needs.
- Support in the creation of onsite collateral including branding, venue and stage slides.
- Build and maintain areas of the Leaders website and online event portals using WordPress to reflect the latest campaign developments.
- Support population of the event app and event portals with content, partners and speakers.
- Use Google Analytics and reporting dashboards to measure the effectiveness of marketing activity.
- Conduct pre-event research, working with external suppliers to obtain various quotes
- Support the Events Team with general event preparation, including using platforms such as Cvent and Social Tables in the creation and maintenance of campaigns.
- Support the Events Team with onsite event delivery across the Leaders calendar.
Requirements
- Ability to begin a full-time role by the end of April
- Understanding of marketing, and basic design principles
- Deadline driven and great attention to detail
- Self-motivated, hard-working, trustworthy and committed to the task at hand
- Dynamic, ambitious, organised, disciplined, and persuasive individual
- Posses an interest in the business of sport
- Someone looking for their first role in sports business
- Good knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience with CRM software would be useful but not essential
