The role of the Partnerships Account Manager is to ensure that all existing partnership rights are executed to the highest standard, including event activations and content production. The Partnerships Account Manager will be the first point of contact for all partners and act as the Leaders ambassador.

This role will require energy and a can do attitude to support the team produce the best value and service for partners in an efficient way, including considerations around time and budget. The individual should be communicative and easy to approach, giving team members and clients alike a sense of trust and confidence throughout the year.

  • Deliver industry ‘best in class’ account management both internally and externally
  • Activate contracted rights across Leaders events and content
  • Plan and minute all account management calls
  • Effectively communicate partnership updates, deliverables and timelines to the relevant department
  • Coordinate with marketing, content and operations teams to plan and execute relevant partnership rights
  • Proactively working with sales team to seek upselling opportunities within key accounts by understanding the business needs throughout the year and probing insight on the assets/ benefits they value the most
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the sport industry
  • Measure and report partnership activations and campaigns to showcase ROI for partners
  • Responsible for creating, managing and delivering invitation campaigns for private events
  • Work with industry leading service providers to connect them with key targets (usually rights-holders, broadcasters or brands)
  • Act as the ‘voice of the partners’ to help contribute to new product developments


  • 3+ years' experience in account management
  • A good understanding of the sponsorship landscape with demonstrable experience in managing partnerships and delivering contractual rights
  • Must be a confident communicator with experience in leading partner meetings and calls, and playing a central role presenting back results to clients
  • A process-driven approach to organisation with a proven ability to move partnerships forward on agreed timelines
  • Excellent copywriting skills with a strong attention to detail across all output
  • Must possess a high level of proficiency in all Microsoft Office tools
  • Self-motivated, hard-working, trustworthy and proactive attitude
  • Experience working in the Sports industry is desirable
