About Unmind

Unmind is a workplace mental health platform. We empower employees to live more fulfilling and balanced lives by changing the way organisations around the world think about mental health. We believe that everyone has the right to a healthy mind – because we all have mental health, all of the time – and we’re striving to create a world where mental health is universally understood, nurtured, and celebrated.

Having closed our Series B funding in April 2021, and looking ahead to our Series C, we're excited about the next stage of growth which will enable us to deliver on our mission to improve the mental wellbeing of ten million people in organisations around the world. We’re a fast-growing team with over 190 Unminders across London, Sydney and New York and would love for you to join us as our new Talent Partner, 6month FTC.

Uniting Behind Uniqueness

At Unmind we believe in “Uniting Behind Uniqueness” based on the belief that humans are endlessly unique and their opportunities are equally important. In order to fulfil our mission, we want our team to represent the diversity of our users which is why we’re committed to building an inclusive workplace where we encourage everyone to bring their whole selves to work. We want to foster a culture where everybody feels included, heard, and equal – regardless of age, disability, gender, neurodiversity, marital or parental status, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation.

If there are any adjustments we can make that would help improve your experience with Unmind, please do let us know when you apply or email us at [email removed - click apply for more details].

The Role – Talent Partner, 6 Month FTC

As a Talent Partner at Unmind, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end hiring across our UK and global teams. You will operate as a generalist across a number of departments including Sales and Marketing.

This opportunity is to support our hiring plans over the next 6 months, partnering with our hiring community and helping us continually grow, learn, and evolve as a People and Talent team, and as an organisation, as we deliver on our mission to improve the mental wellbeing of ten million people in organisations around the world.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Build - Partner with hiring managers, particularly across our Commercial business areas to deliver key, high-impact hires across our non-technical teams to enable Unmind to scale effectively. This includes attracting, sourcing, and screening candidates through to refining our interview practices and everything in between.
  • Attract - Collaborate with managers to build a diverse funnel of top talent using traditional search tools such as LinkedIn as well as leveraging your expert sourcing knowledge to find great candidates in harder to find places.
  • Nurture: Deliver a best-in-class Candidate Experience throughout the entire candidate journey; coach colleagues on recruitment best practices and ensure a consistent values-based approach to hiring.
  • Operationalise: Methodically fine-tune and continually improve our Talent initiatives and processes whilst replacing any that buckle or strain as we grow.
  • Own: Lead on the end-to-end Candidate Experience in a way that authentically aligns with our mission, vision, purpose, and values – whereby even unsuccessful applicants still think positively about Unmind.
  • Reflect: Gather, review, and report on recruitment feedback from touch-points internally and externally to help us identify recurring themes and prioritise potential improvements.

Requirements

We encourage you to remove education from your CV upon application as qualifications are not a driving factor in our decision making and we are committed to tackling educational inequality. We firmly believe that no one is the finished article and that there should be learning in every role you do. However, some experience in the following is important for this position:

  • Previous experience hiring exceptional talent in-house, ideally for commercial business areas such as Sales teams.
  • Overseeing the full candidate journey from sourcing to offer management and the continual development of talent pipelines.
  • Experience using an ATS, ideally Workable.
  • Data-informed and have a proven experience of using insights and analytics to continually inform decision-making, ensure a diverse pipeline of candidates, and improve hiring practices.
  • Passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion, creating an engaging and inclusive hiring experience for both candidates and the internal hiring community.
  • Apply a growth mindset to everything you do, with an openness to continuous improvement.
  • Have a natural curiosity, are able to think outside of the box, and have a genuine interest or passion for technology or the start-up world.
  • Comfortable working in an environment of rapid growth, constant change, and lots of unknowns.

Benefits

At Unmind we believe in having a whole person approach and we hope that our benefits enhance the lives of Unminders, helping them be happy, healthy and fulfilled. You can see the full details of our benefits on our careers page, but they include:

  • Private Medical Insurance for you and your family
