Role: Supported Housing Officer



Location: Bradford Foyer



Contract: Full-Time, Permanent



Salary scale: £ 21,371 to £23,813 per annum (dependent on experience)

This role is perfect for individuals who have experience of working with vulnerable people in a supportive setting including supported housing, social care, health care or a related area. We also welcome applications from experienced practitioners.



Centrepoint is the UK's leading charity for homeless young people. We provide a range of accommodation based and floating support services to vulnerable young people across the nation. Our vision is to end youth homelessness but until then we will continue to provide young people with a place to call home, tailored support and the opportunity to build the skills needed to sustain independent living.



We are looking for a Supported Housing Officer to join our excellent Support & Housing team in one our Bradford services. 



What you’ll be doing...




  • Effective delivery of Centrepoint’s support model through key work sessions
  • Adherence in service to contractual obligations
  • Keep young people safe whilst living in a Centrepoint Service
  • Support caseload of young people to improve life skills and access training opportunities
  • Maximise rental income and minimise void loss



What we’d be looking for from you...




  • Experience working with young and/or vulnerable children and adults
  • Ability to positively engage with young people
  • Able to identify, develop and maintain strong, effective and beneficial partnerships with all relevant external agencies
  • Ability to manage workload to meet a range of conflicting deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and numeracy skills
  • A strong and demonstrable commitment to promoting Centrepoint’s approach to equality and diversity in all work undertaken.
