Mance Communications are seeking a Public Relations Intern for a six month position, who is full of creative ideas and eager to contribute on a larger scale. The PR Intern will provide daily support to the Mance Communications PR team while gaining invaluable experience within a fast paced press office.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with creating press releases
- Assist with pitching new stories to press
- Assist with fortnightly reports
- Attend client meetings where relevant
- Regularly update the Mance Communications database media list
- Assist in administrative duties, including client coverage scans and logging media activity
- Keep up to date with all media activity, including social.
- Attend client press launches and interact with journalists
- Ensure all cuttings are mounted and in relevant folders
- Complete roundups of weekly trends and hot new openings
- Manage office supplies e.g. stationary, paper etc
Requirements:
- Desire to learn and with a professional drive
- Passion for the PR industry
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail, quality and accuracy
