Location: London, UK, working on a hybrid basis.

Reporting to: This role will report to the CFO, and the Director of Transformation will sit on the Senior Management Team.

ROLE

As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Transformation and Change Director to lead our efforts in scaling our operations and achieving operational excellence.

As the Senior Transformation and Change Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the transformation and change agenda of our global company. You will be responsible for leading and executing strategic initiatives aimed at scaling our business, enhancing operational efficiency, and optimizing processes and systems. Your focus will include driving investment in infrastructure and IT to support our growth objectives. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including senior leadership, to ensure the successful implementation of transformation initiatives across the organization.

 

 RESPONSBILITIES


  • Transformation Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive transformation strategy aligned with our growth objectives, focusing on scaling operations, achieving operational excellence, and enhancing process efficiency. Outline and lead the operations improvement strategy by partnering with the SMT, functional owners, and IT to define key process gaps resulting in inefficient or suboptimal results
  • Change Management: Lead change management efforts by effectively communicating the vision, objectives, and benefits of transformation initiatives to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and facilitate their adoption and engagement.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize existing processes, systems, and workflows to drive efficiency gains and improve overall operational effectiveness
  • Investment Strategy: Collaborate with the executive team to develop a robust investment strategy, including infrastructure and IT, to support the scalability of our operations and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of transformation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the desired outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to gain their support, gather insights, and ensure alignment on transformation objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish performance metrics and KPIs to track the progress and impact of transformation initiatives, and provide regular updates and reports to senior management and the board.
  • Change Culture: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and change readiness throughout the organization, encouraging innovation, collaboration, and adaptability.
  • Implement lean management operating system in full at SMT level (including clear operating mechanism, KPI build out and tracking, monthly operating review for continuous improvement, performance visualisation, action planning, and continuous improvement problem solving) and coach SMT though implementing elements down into their organisations, including KPI tree and functional operating reviews.
  • Develop and deploy training on key lean topics based on a phasing approach aligned with SMT, including but not limited to KPI development linked to business goals, leader standard work, problem solving and continuous improvement tools, kaizen work outs, value stream mapping, action planning, and hoshin kanri tied to strategy work.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. 
  • A master's degree or MBA is high preferred.

Experience


  • Extensive relevant professional experience, with a proven track record of leading successful transformation and change initiatives within global organizations.
  • Lean toolbox - VSM, Action Plans, Problem resolution system, Kaizen, lean action workout, waste reduction, visual management, leader standard work, hoshin kanri, etc
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute transformation strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Project Management: Extensive experience in managing complex projects and initiatives, including budgeting, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Change Management: Expertise in change management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with a track record of successfully driving organizational change.
  • Leadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and influence stakeholders at all levels. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify issues, develop solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively across diverse teams and functions, fostering a culture of teamwork and cooperation.
  • Voluntary Carbon Market: Familiarity with the voluntary carbon market, climate change mitigation, and sustainability concepts is highly desirable.
